I think it's about time I started doing some regular blogging. Like most bloggers, I have nothing to talk about, so most of my entries are going to be random nonsense. Purple monkey dishwasher.

Now that the nonsense is out of the way, I'm going to point out a new site feature: the music player. After 5+ years of making music I've finally put most of it into a database and am now programatically accessing it. If you can't see it, that's because it's on the Main Page and not on the article sidebar (although it will be soon).

Programatically is a word, shut up firefox spellcheck.

Anyway, in order to drive people to that content, I have to create this content so the site is more than just a basic music player (which doesn't play oggs so a significant portion of my library won't be available). Instead of giving boring irrelevant details of my personal life I'll be giving boring irrelevant details of my online life which I attempt to separate from my personal life as much as possible (except where cool people are involved).

That being said some of you might be familiar with ThaSauce which has had more or less everything about it broken for some time. A lot of the work I've been doing on this site has been in preparation for making a new version of ThaSauce from scratch. This'll probably take about a month to get a basic version up (since I have a day job, but that's part of my personal life so you won't hear details about that) and then I'll add features on for a few months after that, and hopefully by that point I can have my hands clean of php-nuke.

Also going on is a couple of game development projects which I'm not going to go into details about but will simply say that they are/will be awesome and you should buy them whenever they're available for sale. Hopefully before year's end, that might be a little optimistic but I need money for MAGFest and my day job sucks (again, no details). At the very least I hope to be able to show a demo or two at MAG, and then pay off my debts afterward with sales. A large portion of the revenues are already promised off to the people doing a lot of the other work, mainly because I don't have the cash to pay up front, but I'm putting aside a significant portion of profits towards that so future projects can get along smoothly.
